A completely renovated cottage nestled in the country of Sullivan, this cozy retreat is just minutes from boating, camping, golf, professional theater performances, and more. If you are looking for peaceful nights, this place is for you! Surrounded by trees and nature where you may see deer roaming the yard, this getaway has plenty of yard space for games, a fire table to converse around, and chairs on the porch to sit back, relax, and take in the tranquil sounds that surround you here at Lakewood Cottage.
THE SPACE
A shiplap lover’s dream! This cottage went through a complete remodel in 2021. Shiplap and hardwood are found throughout the home which features a custom kitchen, large walk-in shower, faux fireplace, and open concept living. Not one area was left untouched for this complete remodel project on this property.
Sit back and enjoy everything the back patio has to offer. You will find a grill and patio furniture with a fire table perfect for conversing around and enjoying the peaceful setting!
The front porch boasts wooden wrapped columns to complete the rustic look. Sit back in the rocking chairs and watch the wildlife roam.
GUEST ACCESS
The home is entirely yours to use. We have locked off one closet to store essentials of the home upon turnover. Keyless access, with a unique code just for your stay, makes it convenient to check-in to the home on your schedule. The home sits on over three acres, so there’s plenty of room to spread out, park a boat, watch the deer, or play a game.

LAKEWOOD COTTAGE #2
THE SPACE
Located about a mile from the Bo Woods boat ramp, two miles from NorthEnd Pub and Grill and Sullivan Marina, and just about a mile from Sullivan, this home’s location allows guests to easily get groceries, go shopping at The Briarwood or The Flower Pot Florals and Boutique, catch a show The Little Theatre On The Square, or enjoy Lake Shelbyville.
We are excited to present another affordable and cozy place to lay your head when visiting Lake Shelbyville, the City of Sullivan, or the surrounding areas.
This two bedroom and one bath home boasts all new decor, kitchenware, linens, and patio furniture. Come in and cozy up or head to the gaming room for hours of entertainment from the pool table, foosball table, putting mat, and dart board to a variety of card games and board games.
Outside, you will enjoy preparing and enjoying your home cooked entrees at the grilling area and the farmhouse style dining table. The large yard offers plenty of room to roam, toss horseshoes, or sit around the fire pit for conversations and s’mores.
At the end of 2023 the bathroom will complete its makeover with a new vanity and countertop, new lighting, and a new mirror.
GUEST ACCESS
As a guest here, you will have access to the entire home. We use a keyless system for arrivals, so there is no need for us to meet you on the property to gain entrance into the home. Arrive and enter the cottage at your convenience and with no hassles.
OTHER NOTES
The large garage out back has plenty of space on either side to park your boat.
